It’s Christmas 1893. When Watson wagers that women can’t solve crimes, Mrs. Hudson dons the deerstalker to prove him wrong. But what begins as a playful challenge soon spirals into vanishing violinists, eccentric suspects, secret passageways, stolen jewels, and a galloping chase across Victorian London.
To win the bet - and her dignity - Mrs. Hudson must outwit villains, rescue a damsel, and prove that deduction is no man’s game.
Packed with laughs, wit, and a sprinkle of Christmas cheer, this festive caper is perfect for adults and families alike - clever enough for grown-ups, cheeky enough to keep the kids giggling (even if they don’t quite get all the jokes!).

Tickets are £10 (£8 for under-16s & over-60s).

Refunds
Brightlight operate the following refund policy:
★ If the performance you have a ticket for has to be cancelled for any reason, we will automatically refund your ticket price. The booking fee charged by our ticket agent at the point of ticket purchase is out of our control and cannot be refunded unfortunately.
★ If you buy a ticket and the performance goes ahead as planned but you can’t attend, you may return your tickets up to an hour before the performance begins (just email us at info@brightlight-theatre.co.uk) and we’ll provide you with a full refund of the ticket price. The booking fee charged by our ticket agent at the point of ticket purchase is out of our control and cannot be refunded unfortunately.
